Following the model of the added gallop, a gallop and tapping have to be completed in the timer needed to perform the tapped gallop.  It is not the combination of gallop plus tapping that is so frequent in the dance models that have been handed down to us. In this case, it is rather a tapped gallop, which means that the foot has to be lifted before the tapping is completed.
Tapped gallop to the right Tapped gallop to the left

Therefore, the dance starts with a gallop to the right and, at the moment when the feet are crossed, keeping the left foot crossed in front of the right foot, the dancer taps the floor with the tip of his foot.  He then taps the floor with the heel of the right foot and then places his right heel against his left instep.  The step is thus completed and [the dantzari] is therefore ready to start a gallop to the left or any other step. This is the tapped gallop to the right that we propose, and the same would be performed to the left to dance the added gallop to the left.
